My Employer went to Cigna as of 1/1/2018 .

My Spouse has been diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer . They have done NOTHING to address the Cancer , she has an unidentified spot on her Liver , back of a Lung and a Breast , which has since become a LUMP .

Cigna has REPEATEDLY DENIED her Doctor to do ANY type of MRI with Contrast to further diagnose these Spots OR the Lump . Again , they have authorized NOTHING to Treat the original Cancer . Their Perscription coverage is an absolute JOKE . They began by denying Perscriptions that are necessary to her , that she has been on for YEARS .

Cigna deems them " not needed .

They have thus far , paid for NOTHING , yet milk some 800 per Month out of US . We were better off with NO Insurance .

Have you Tried requesting a case manager? Usually if a patient is diagnosed with cancer, they can request an oncology case manager that helps oversee the treatment plans/authorization process. I recommend getting in touch with customer service to set up a case manager for your wife!


Have you tried requesting a case manager? Usually when a patient has a cancer diagnosis, they can request an oncology CM to help navigate through the treatment plans/ authorizations. Call customer service and ask them to get a case manager!
