Not once have they delivered my medication to the right address after many, many phone calls, emails, etc. This insurance company has been a nightmare!

Cigna in Marietta, Georgia - The Worst

I have Cigna Phamacy through my employer. I have to get a specific blood pressure medicine through them. I have gotten several emails notifying me that I am ready for a refill and I *think* that I am ordering more meds. Meanwhile, I look online several days later wondering where my meds are and the site says they can not fill the prescription. Under my employee clinic, I have to go in to get any prescription filled. Total waste of time... then I have had to get the prescription, take it to a CVS and pay about 40 or dollars for the same meds..... And Cigna refuses to pay the difference. I understand that it is my obligation to check on meds- but dont send out notifications telling me one thing and not doing what I expect.....

Every time I seem to go pickup my prescription at Cigna they mess up. I get my scripts for no copay because of Mercy care, but they always try and say I owe such an such amount. After a 15 min wait they figure it out. I go through this nonsense every time I get a refill..why??

I still haven't heard back from them concerning my complaint. I had a flex spending card on file with them and didn't know the balance was getting low.

Guess what, that's gonna be their loss! I'll let them call me about that since they couldn't answer my complaint.

I've spoken to at least 3 people, done an online chat, tried to get another pharmacy to get my prescription transferred to them ( Cigna would pick up the phone line) and had my doctor to resend the rx to them again. They had the nerve to tell me they would do...

Cigna stole my money too

A clerical error on prescription processing resulted in a $240 overcharge. Upon trying to fix it, Cigna gave me nothing but finger pointing and “I’m Sorry, but there’s nothing I can do”. It’s my money, and now they have it. That’s theft.

Cigna keeps (trying) to cheat me out of pharmacy meds

My employer offers cigna for health/pharmacy benefits. Since July of 2017, the month it started, Cigna has denied approving my life-saving drug (due to step therapy where they want me to try a different drug and it has to "fail" in helping me before my current drug is partially covered) AND the MD wrote a prescription for the quantity of a testing item I need but Cigna keeps only giving me the amount they want me to have. My state passed a law that says if a patient has done step therapy before , no matter how many insurers I've had, I NEVER have to try a different drug again....Well, Cigna claimed they knew nothing about the law (12 states have enacted this) and tough cookies. I appealed the denial and sent a copy of the signed law. Thirty days later, I was approved to get this med partially covered. Huh. As for the pharmacy issue, they keep allowing only a certain quantity of testing items. The MD wrote a prescription and they would ok the quantity, but I had to argue for it. Every month was the same dance. Then, cigna said I had to get preauthorized for the quantity. So, the MD filled out the forms and called Cigna and Cigna gave her a hard time about it. But it was authorized. I go to get my med and sure enough, Cigna claims I can't have that quantity. So, I called and argued for HALF AN HOUR and was told I was only allowed a certain amount, I don't need pre-auth, and around we go.....Finally, Cigna puts me on hold to speak to the pre-auth dept and VOILA! I'm magically approved!! Yeah, let's see what happens next month... This is a game and a farce and Cigna hopes that patients BACK DOWN and just do what they're told. Well, Not this Jersey Girl.......

This is the BIGGEST joke, waste of money, highway robbery. They charged me more than their website price checker and more than it cost to pay the cash price at the local pharmacy. Total bait and switch, false advertising, and sham. They over charged on multiple drugs some as much as 100% for generic. Then filled a prescription for a controlled substance on a lethal dosing per day without even a question. They told me that I was stuck with it and they were keeping my money $500, it was not their problem. Customer service are just dummies that can only say "I don't know", "I have to ask someone", "Sorry it happened", "can you hold". My dog is smarter.

I have a daily medication that has been pre-approved through 2019. Yet every time I order this medicine they kick back blaming my doctor. My doctor office had to call daily for a week; still Cigna wouldn't approve! I to complain without medication for two weeks; that I was going to end up in hospital and it was going to cost them a lot more! Then I got approved... So when I refill after all that trouble (by the way I still have 3 refill left) it got kick back and blamed on my doctor! I need this medicine nightly or I will lay in bed having panic attacks and not sleeping for days! This wrong to put someone through that (it's cruel and unusual punishment because I can't take pills)! I am sure that won't cause other health issues!!!!
