Cigna - Short Term Denied

Short term approved back in June. Seemed like everything going ok. Then suddenly wasnt receiving a check from them , not that they were consistent. Was told by my claims manager that they are waiting on my doctors office to send my records. Well my condition and records have not changed since June. So after waiting , because Cigna reps will not update you on anything, and their website doesnt show updates, its either open or closed, I was told it was denied because of the information Cigna put together from my doctors office that I could work , although the story Cigba typed up still contradicts being able to go back to work. CIGNA BELIEVES THEIR OWN LIES!! PSYCHOPATHS!! NOW this week its that there is no notations of my strenght or range of motion!! WTH?! I can occasionally lift 10 lbs per my doctor so WHO CARES ABOUT MY STRENGTH , and I AM NOT TO STOOP, BEND OVER, SQUAT , CROUCH ETC.. SO WHO CARES WHAT MY RANGE OF MOTION IS!!! Oh yeah and before this the excuse was the dr needs to SPECIFY why my pains etc, affect my job!!! AGAIN CIGNA who cares because it was enough to take me out of work idiots!! Then u get a complete listing of my job title and duties AND still uphold your denial decision?! I SERIOUSLY DOUBT ANYONE LOOKED AT THE DUTIES OF MY JOB!!! Any moron can see that you wouldnt be able to complete duties as needed. When people say there is EVIL in this world, they are talking about CIGNA. Thr epitome of evil!! And then u get a call from some lady named Angie and she gets all your doctors names, meds you are on, etc.. acting like they care or that information is gonna help you get case approved. Nope it doesnt. Stop with the lying , wasting peoples' time , killing people by not approving claims. Just quit the crap CIGNA!! A LOT of people are on to your way. Were not a bunch of ignorant dummies!!!

Cigna - Loss of assistance

I was a client of Cigna and I was helped immensely with a lady named Pam. It all fell apart about 2 Months ago when she had left the company and I lost all faith with the company. I had received the I was in contact with a man named Ed and he is not of much help to me and I have to take matters into my own hands. I am constantly trying to get some type of answer than your claim is being reviewed. That is the only thing I am ever told. I and my family have been under a lot of stress because of the lack of help with the company. It seems that without Pam the whole system falls apart. I have been to patient with them and to no avail nothing happened

I bought short term disability through Cigna. Was out of work and filed for it. 2 denials 2 appeals over 50 calls and 6 visits to the doctor to fill out paperwork. Still nothing but excuses. Their doctor who has never seen or evaluated me decided I was not disabled even though 3 doctors who have actually treated me say I am. They don't tell you when you buy it, it is up to them to approve your claim. All BS just another scam company

1-28-2018 This year a second check was received from Cigna again trying to settle the unpaid Life Insurance policy of $ 10,000. The check for $45.00 is to settle the debt.

Obviously I denied this attempt. Cigna has not learned yet and continues the same poor service...

I could not agree more. This company is not very good at all.

My mom worked for them and when she passed away my dad noticed that the payout was supposed to be 10 times her salary but the HR lady "accidentally "put 5 times her salary. They basically said oops sorry but there's nothing we can do. Also my mother had left a percentage to my daughter. Since she was a minor I would have to get an attorney so I could get guardianship of my daughters estate otherwise they would place her portion into an interest bearing account until she turns 18.

We that was 10 years ago and we have not once received any kind of statement letting us know how much interest it's gained or status of ***. That's ridiculous to not keep people up to date about their own money.

I didn't want to believe it, but before i went on my short term disability. People were telling me don't count on your Cigna check being on time. I have a active approved case now. My case manager won't even call me back. The person i did talk to. She said a check can be ten business after the issue date. Hopefully it will get better.

Cigna in Little Rock, Arkansas - Claims filed incorrectly each quarter

September 2014 DME claim for insulin pump supplies still not resolved. Cigna is stating that Carecentrixs did not send a claim for them to process as secondary. Every quarter I have to be the middle man getting issues resolved between CareCentrixs and Cigna. Carecentrixs for whatever reason, only submits the coinsurance that my primary states I am liable for. Why are you not submitting the claim to show the full bill chare that's reflected on the primary EOB?? Like I said each quarter I go through this and it takes a while to get the claim paid. When I call there is always an extended hold time, the reps are not very knowledgeable. I basically end up telling them how to do their jobs and I do not wokr for them. I am very knowledgable about insurance as I have been working in this field for quite some time. Come on Carecentrixs and get it together. This is so frustrating.
