I'm having the same issue. I paid my premium $1,796 on August 23rd.

It is now September 15th. Pharmacist tells me I have no coverage.

This is the BIGGEST joke, waste of money, highway robbery. They charged me more than their website price checker and more than it cost to pay the cash price at the local pharmacy. Total bait and switch, false advertising, and sham. They over charged on multiple drugs some as much as 100% for generic. Then filled a prescription for a controlled substance on a lethal dosing per day without even a question. They told me that I was stuck with it and they were keeping my money $500, it was not their problem. Customer service are just dummies that can only say "I don't know", "I have to ask someone", "Sorry it happened", "can you hold". My dog is smarter.

on 2/8/17 called and changed the credit card that I was using to pay my debts. On 2/9/17 had a Dr. appointment at MD Anderson where the Dr. prescribed some antibiotics from a previous biopsy performed. On my way back home from the appointment got a call from home delivery stating that my card did not go through. They did not change the card status when I called the day before, after that was settled was told to expect the meds in 48 hours. I got a notice yesterday that it had just been sent out. So instead of 48 hours I have to wait 7 days. This has been going pretty much since I had to sign up for home delivery. I tried complaining on the cigna web site but there is no link. Cigna review: They make the rules up as they go

I've been dealing with Cigna for over a month now. They denied/closed my claim due to insufficient information, even though my Dr. filled out all their forms. The same person has given me different requirements to meet on each of 7 different phone calls. I truly believe they try to confuse people and delay payments until you're exhausted and give up. My reality is that they will win based their own arbitrary deadlines and that it would cost me more to fight them than the claim is worth. I know this for sure: Insurance companies don't make money paying claims. We're not Patients, we are customers.

CIGNA continues to save money and aggravate customers

You must jump through the hoops. I have lower back and leg pain. Two years my doctor and I spent trying to find a pharmaceutical solution, but it's just worse. Last year, I visited an orthopedic doctor who knew how CIGNA wanted the paperwork to be done. I had to go to physical therapy for a few visits - of course you can't fix a bone/nerve problem that way - then CIGNA approved the MRI. More hoops to jump and I was finally 'authorized' to have an epidural - WOW! That made me feel like new - until the bills started arriving. The anesthesiologist was out of network, but I did not have a choice. The CIGNA authorization went straight to my orthopedist's office, and the procedure was scheduled from there. One anesthesiologist at that surgery center is in network, and the other is not - and it's potluck which one is on duty for the day. I'm baffled that I received no paperwork for the authorization and somehow I'm supposed to know that CIGNA will reject portions of the procedure. I was billed for the surgery center, the anesthesiologist, and an anes. nurse - - all separately - - and the anesthesiologist was out of network. Beware - you're on your own when CIGNA authorizes a procedure. Don't assume that they will pay for all of it - drugs, assistants, doctors may be rejected for any number of (cost-saving) reasons. Good luck jumping through time-wasting hoops to get the relief you need.

Every time I tried to call, takes for ever. I got hang up the other day. I hate calling Cigna for information. I do not like the automatic system they have. Is really hard to get in touch with customer service. I wish the customer service can improve. I got a double card for my account and one did not work, i could not make any payments for my prescriptions and trying to call them took for ever and they could not help me to find out I had another car. I am very disappointed when it comes to talk to Cigna customer service. I still not able to get a answer to my question, the website also does not tell me much. I just need to find out witch card is the good card. I do not need to be hang up for a simple question.

I have everything imaginable wrong with my entire spin couple with two fusions surgery. I just received a call last week from Cigna to simply tell me I am cancelled effective last week. For 9 months my doctor had sent numerous reports to them regarding my condition as per Cigna's request. They think I can perform seditary work which for 9 months my surgeon was very specific as to why I am unable. I have worked my entire life and I truly wish I could. Have to hire an attorney and appeal. Waiting for them to send the info via mail. This is cost effective. No warning no questions. Cancelled Thanks!!

Cigna review: One word: TERRIBLE

They change policies and terms at will, increase premiums, deny coverage, do not honor their commitments, only reason I am with them was my company sponsored plan was with them. Please, if you value your health, do not even consider these crooks and liars unless you enjoy being lied to, robbed and misled. Their customer service people have absolutely no autonomy to ever resolve a claim, they simply tote a company line, whatever you ask, the answer is a big fat NO. no idea why they bother having a custimer service (the name itself in the case of Cigna is a joke) department if the employees witll absolutely not listen or attempt to understand what you are talking about

They sold us a policy on marketplace.gov, said our doctor was in network, took our money, then issued a card to us with another doctor who we did not know and said our doctor was not in network. No explanation. When you ask customer service for a supervisor, they hang up. Customer service is not in the Unites States. People with a thick accent with no power and little knowledge of how their system presents it self are pleasant but useless. Their customer service on two separate occasions was in Costa Rica but list themselves as being in Alabama or Georgia as I recall
